BBC One - The One Show

We were so proud that Blatchington Mill was featured on BBC One’s, The One Show. Grief can be a difficult topic to talk about, especially with young people and as a school that incorporates Project Eileen grief education into its PSHE curriculum, we were pleased to share our students' thoughts and reactions. Project Eileen is a charity that provides a multimedia programme of lessons and resources to help teenagers cope with bereavement, death and grief.

Our students spoke eloquently with Kelsey Parker, widow of The Wanted’s Tom Parker, and showed as a school how we are supporting our pupils to start the conversation in the classroom.
