Ted Hoare's England Debut

Friday, 06 January 2017

Talented young footballer Ted Hoare, year 10, represented England in an international U15s football match against Turkey in December.

As Captain of the team, Ted led England to a 5-2 victory scoring the opening goal of the game. He attended two rounds of trials at the St George's Park training ground in Staffordshire before being selected to play in the match against Turkey. Following their victory, the team are now looking forward to playing against Belgium at St George's Park in the near future and they will also be travelling to Italy to play an away match at the end of the year. Not only is he busy playing for England, Ted also plays for Brighton and Hove Albion FC and trains regularly.

Ted described his England debut as ‘the best experience of my life’ and there will certainly be many more to come in the future.

We are very proud to have such a talented young player in our midst at Blatchington Mill School and wish Ted all the best of luck in his footballing career.
