Global Citizenship Guides

23 February 2017 - Humanities - Year 7

Miss Harrington's year 7 Geography class have been working on global citizenship guides which detail various steps a citizen can take to make the world a better place for everyone. The guides were then peer-assessed by other members of the class who made suggestions of improvement for thier classmates' guides which were subsequently added to.

The guides are beautifully presented and incude poignant and thoughtful messages about global issues such as the environment, charity, equality and community.

Some examples include:

'Recycle your bottles and cans so we preserve nature and the environment' - Liam

'Discover the value of other cultures' - Louise

'Help the community and donate money to your local charities' - Esme

'Fairtrade certified products are guaranteed to have been produced under humane conditions for the worker, with that worker being paid a fair wage.' - Louise
